Faith, Not Politics: Following JESUS Over Partisanship

Devotional Message: By the grace of God, I am a Christian—and even more, a follower of JESUS CHRIST in both faith and daily devotion. I do not follow culture, politics, or power structures. I follow the Lamb of God, The Risen Savior, The Prince of Peace.
Yet today, I grieve. I grieve because the name of Jesus is being diminished in public discourse, replaced with earthly allegiances and political idolatry. I’ve witnessed those who call themselves “conservative”—especially during election seasons—display anger, hatred, and violence. This is not The Spirit of Christ.
Jesus was humble, meek, merciful… yet unshakable in truth and righteous in power. God hates sin—but loves humanity. When movements claim His name yet act without His Spirit, they fall into deception.
I've seen churches, mostly white evangelical congregations, lift the name of a man above the name of Jesus. Instead of praising the Savior, they praise political figures. Some even call Trump “God’s chosen,” while condoning lies, pride, and chaos that mock the character of Christ.
But hear this: 📖 You won’t find the term “conservative” anywhere in the Bible. 📜 It was born in political ideology, not divine inspiration—originating in 1818 during the Bourbon Restoration in France. 📖 Yet the word "liberal," biblically, refers to generous and spiritual abundance (Proverbs 11:25, Isaiah 32:8).
The misuse of Scripture for political advantage grieves the heart of God. False prophets, like those Jezebel appointed in ancient Israel, continue to rise. As described in 2 Thessalonians 2:10, a strong delusion comes upon those who reject the love of truth. And today, we see that delusion moving boldly through churches, parties, and judges who compromise righteousness for power.
Let Us Remember:
The KKK once burned crosses and lynched people of color while falsely claiming Christ.
Hitler proclaimed himself a Christian as he massacred Jews.
Evil often wears a disguise of holiness to corrupt the Church from within.
What we see now is not revival—it is religious nationalism. It is cultural cultism masquerading as biblical Christianity. But The Holy Spirit teaches differently.
🎓 I study from the King James Bible. My teacher is the HOLY SPIRIT—not man, not denomination. The understanding comes only through Him. Political labels have no bearing on salvation. We must pursue Spirit-led discernment, not partisan propaganda.
💧The liberal soul waters others and is watered in return. But the vile soul, as Isaiah 32 warns, uses lies to crush the poor and mislead the righteous. This is the fruit we must examine—not the labels, but the actions.
Call to Action: If you are Christ’s—live as Christ. Not in hatred, division, or racial superiority, but in truth, humility, and holy love. Surrender all to Jesus. Let the Spirit of God show you what a liberal soul truly is: one who gives, one who loves, one who stands boldly in truth and justice.
