๐ฅ Baptized in Holy Fire๐ฅ
This Is The Beginning of Desperately Seeking Jesus 111 Part II
✨ Introduction: More Than a Blog—A Mission Born in Fire
Desperately Seeking Jesus 111 Part II is not merely a blog—it’s a living mission, ignited by the command of Matthew 6:33:
“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. This is a call to chase after God’s divine order and His Holy Justice —not just blessings, but alignment. To seek His face is to reject complacency. To pursue His righteousness is to confront every altar built on oppression.
You weren’t drawn here by accident. You were drawn by fire.
๐ Key Scriptures
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1 (NIV) “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees.” – Isaiah 10:1 (NIV) “His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones…” – Jeremiah 20:9 (NIV)
๐ฅ Reflection: Nostalgia Comes with Chains
The cry to “Make America Great Again” isn’t just political—it’s spiritual nostalgia laced with supremacy. It’s a longing for a time when systems were built to silence, segregate, and enslave. This is not greatness—it’s idolatry of empire.
And it is no coincidence that the "Big Beautiful Bill" was signed into law on July 4th, 2025—a day meant to celebrate freedom. That bill strips essential programs from the poor, enhances wealth inequality, and tightens the grip of oppression. Signing it on Independence Day sends a message: This is the kind of “freedom” they honor—freedom for the powerful, bondage for the rest?
But let us not forget: when the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, slavery still existed. It would take nearly a century before the Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1863, and even then, freedom was delayed and denied. The 13th Amendment abolished slavery in law, but white supremacy continued to enforce injustice through segregation, violence, and systemic exclusion. The Founding Fathers never met to set people of color free—they built a nation that preserved their own power.
The Big Beautiful Bill is not just policy—it’s a spiritual echo of that same exclusion. It reminds us that the fight for righteousness is far from over.
But the Kingdom of God is not rooted in nationalism—it is rooted in righteousness. God’s kingdom elevates the oppressed, breaks spiritual and systemic chains, and calls leaders to account.
We must discern the spirits behind the slogans. We must seek not America’s version of greatness, but heaven’s definition of justice.
