WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE FIRE IT SHALL NOT BURN YOU

NEITHER SHALL THE FLAMES KINDLE UPON YOU

Isaiah 43:2

PRAISE THE LORD! Saints of God, This Devotional is for those going through The Fire, and those who are in The Fire, and those who are about to come out of The FIRE.  Stepping into the refining Fire of The LORD does not sound good, because we as humans in the flesh nature know fire burns, and have felt it in the physical. Anyone who has picked up a hot pot by mistake knows fire burns, for that pot was on the burner that had fire under it. That kind of heat that brings blisters, burns and scars. Your hands is evidence that something hot has come in contact with your flesh.

The Closer you get to the fire the more  impact of the heat you feel. Now when The Saints of God  walk in The Spirit there’s a different kind of Fire were walking in. It’s an All Consuming Fire that erupts in Praise.  One That fills you up inside, one that feels like it's  spreading through your bones and has to be released. The kind that brings an outburst of Praise!  Now there is another Fire, A Refining Fire, The Fire of Trial, The Fire of Purification, Fire of Endurance in a Test. A Test of Your Faith. The Fire is one every Follower of Jesus goes through. Attacks of The Enemy, God allows for His Glory. Rev.12:10 For Satan is The Accuser of The Brethren. 

The Holy Spirit often brings me to Luke 22:31 whenever I’m about to face a trial, or going through one. Sifting You As Wheat. Jesus warned Peter when he boast about his loyalty to Jesus. Satan  Desire To Have You, so that he may Sift You As Wheat. I looked up the word Sift and it says-  put (a fine, loose, or powdery substance) through a sieve so as to remove lumps or large particles."sift the flour into a large bowl". Those who grew up in the old days know’s when we were younger our  Mom’s when making a batter for a cake used a Sifter for the flour to remove the lumps, so the flour will be smoother. It’s the same in the Bible days when they sift wheat, but the sifter was larger and made for wheat and holds back what is not needed as the wheat falls through.

This is a process of removal of anything that’s not of God.  Satan desire this when His accusation is made to destroy you, opposite of God, for God use it for purification and is to strengthen you. The lumps that are to big can not go through the sifter and remain to be disposed of. That can be good or bad for some of us, for if that lump that is too big, like your ego, your arrogance, your pride, your selfishness. Maybe it is a desire you have for something you have put above God. Family, spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, material things like car, house, job, money, these things  could become heavy lumps in your life that your putting before God and the sifting could separate those lumps to be exposed.

Let’s Look in Job chapter 1 starting at verse 6, Job who seek ye first the kingdom of God and all of His Righteousness. The LORD brag about him when Satan came before him  while the Sons of God came to present themselves before The LORD. Satan just came  back from going to and fro through the earth seeking whom he may devour. Job 1:7-11 The Lord ask Satan where he came from? as if he knew not, a rhetorical question.  The Lord ask Satan- have you consider His Servant Job?  Satan replied. He serve you only because you have put a hedge of protection around all he has. And you blessed him,  and increase him in all the land. Take away those blessings and watch Job curse you to your face. 

God accepted the challenge, The LORD knew the Heart of Job. Could You Be Like Job? Watch what you say, for these tests is to try you. You May Call This  THE FIERY FURNACE. Satan only ambition is to be exalted over God. John 10:10 He came to Steal, Kill, and Destroy everything that is of God. But God came to give Life, and Life more abundantly. The first actions of  Satan towards Job once the Lord removed the protection, Job 1:14,15 was sending the Sabeans after Jobs oxen that were plowing in the field and the asses that were feeding beside them, and took them all. (Remember Job had Five hundred oxen) and (Five hundred she asses) Satan stole through the actions of Sabeans, and slain/killed the servants. 

Verse 16. Now  the Word of God says- another messenger came while the other just gave the news about the first incidents and said -The Fire of God is fallen from heaven, and burn up the sheep, (Seven thousand sheep) and the servants, and consumed them, and only I escaped.  Did He just say The Fire of God? The All Consuming Fire of God came from heaven and consumed all Job sheep and servants. What really happened- The LORD gave Satan the power to call fire from heaven to burn up Job sheep and servants of Job for Satan is The Prince of The Air. Can you imagine the smell of burning flesh and right at the time this one messenger was still talking


verse 17 another comes and says - Three bands of Chaldeans, fell upon the his camels (Three Thousand Camels), and have carried them away, then slain the servants with the edge of the sword and only I escaped.Then while this one was speaking another came bringing news about his children gather at the eldest son house eating and drinking wine when suddenly, winds from the wilderness came and struck down all four corners of the house and not one survived, but only I escaped Satan kill all of Job's children. You SEE in each incident there was left a messenger to deliver the bad news. Job 1:22 and Job sinned not, nor charge God. Come on now, Could you be Like Job? Even while standing in the fiery furnace of the fiery events. A day later he is also struck with boils all over his body due to Satan request after going again before The LORD. 

Job still did not bend to Satan, So he challenges his flesh before The LORD. Job 2:4-6. During this time Satan uses  Job’s wife to ask - do your integrity remain after all this? Curse God and died. Could You Really Be Like Job? Even when it Hurts Like Hell? The LORD gave  Satan access to everything that was of Jobs, He even put  Job in Satan’s hand, I mean everything except Job’s life.  Could you have survived The Job Trial? Has Hell broke out in your life. What would you do? Is your Faith strong enough to endure The Fiery Furnace?  Everyone has turned against you, even your Wife/Husband. Those dear to you have died, and are not there for that support during trials. The ones you thought had your back comes to persecute you. When you become a Servant of God expect the trials to test you. When The LORD opens up The heavens unto you to have a closer relationship. When The Lord blesses you with The Spiritual Gifts for His Glory. When you take that oath, For God I live, and For God I died Expect To Go Through The Fiery Furnace. If you are going to live for Christ. Expect to died for Him also. 

Some Soldiers of The Army of The LORD do died on the battlefield, But those in Christ, have Eternal Life. Do not fear that which can destroy the body  (flesh), but cannot kill the soul fear that which can destroy both body and soul. Matthew 10:28. Could you be the next Job, or Matthew 27:27- 50 Could you be Like Christ who Sacrifice His life nailed to The Tree, so that we can be free? Could you Stand On Your Faith in the Fiery Furnace like The Hebrew boys? Daniel Chapter 3:12-28. Could you be like Peter knowing he was not worthy to be crucified like His master preferred to be crucified upside down?

Could you be Stephen Acts 7:54-60 who preach The Word until it prick the hearts of those who listen and then they stone him to death? Could you be like Paul who was thrown in prison, bitten by a snake after being shipwreck, Stone almost to death, or was it a death resurrected? And later beheaded because of his Faith. For God  I live For God I died Somebody, Outta Testified. When You are put in The Fiery Furnace. Will you trust The Lord’s Word that says When You Walk Through The Fire You Will Not Be Burned? There are so many Saints of God  in the Bible who have Stood On Their Faith While In Fiery Furnace Will You Stand For Christ No Matter What?
